Todd just returned from three weeks in China working on the most epic balloon project in history — a life-sized balloon zoo! Approximately 50 artists used half-a-million balloons to build an interactive balloon zoo complete with over 175 different animal species. Tens of thousands of visitors in the tourist city of Xiamen, China came to explore the zoo, watch the parade, and be entertained by balloon shows.
The project was produced by AEMI and spearheaded by Guido Verhoef of Manifold in the Netherlands. More details are coming once we get through the hundreds of photos and video clips. In the meantime, enjoy the two-minute tour by Kelly Sashimi
