Balloon Dragon at Brooklyn Children’s Museum

IMG_5675

Our friends Larry Moss and Kelly Cheatle of Airigami created another balloon showpiece and this time it is in OUR backyard! This balloon dragon was built for “Balloons Around the World”; a day when balloon artists from around world the twist different balloons simultaneously for the public.

Larry and Kelly built the dragon in Rochester, NY at the National Museum of Play and then shipped the dragon to us in Brooklyn. Todd and other TBC artists will be maintaining the dragon all this week (Oct 7-14) so please come see it at Brooklyn Children’s Museum.  If you want to visit the dragon “before hours” and help Todd fix accidental pops and squishes let us know soon.

Also, if you love this sort of thing (as we do!), Larry is kickstarting another huge collaborative balloon project that will dwarf the balloon dragon.  It’s his gigantic Balloon Manor project, and you can help support it on Kickstarter right now.  Please do, it’s a fabulous project.
