Jason Secoda Win’s Top Twister Award

Jason & Todd at the award banquet And the title goes to . . . .  Jason Secoda!

Jason returned from the annual balloon competition with the Top Twister trophy, an annual prize for balloon artistry.  Jason received the most votes across three categories, small, medium, and large.  The competition was fierce, with artists from all over the world entering their best sculptures.  Like most of Jason’s signature pieces, his entries were careful anatomy studies, with detailed musculature.  According to event organizer Patty Sorell, “Jason’s large sculpture was not only head and shoulders above everything else in terms of difficult technique, but also told an emotional story”.

Jason’s large sculpture, titled “No More Wishing for Wishes” was a man letting a genie out of a bottle.  His medium entry, titled “Ballerina”, was a powerful dancer in a classic pose.  Not surprisingly (and hilariously), Jason ran out of time and entered a classic balloon doggie in a piece titled, “Poor Time Management”.  His gorgeous ballerina and genie won the hearts and votes of the audience.  And Jason won the top prize.

Besides winning balloon twisting competitions, Jason is also a busy performer.  He entertains at private and corporates events all along the east coast.  To see more of his portfolio, or arrange for an appearance at your event, visit twistedballoon.com/jason.
