BAM, The Brooklyn Academy of Music, hosted a retirement gala for President Karen Brooks Hopkins to celebrate her 36-year career. The Twisted Balloon Company created an large balloon drop, centerpieces, and massive balloon clusters for the gala. The party began with dinner at the Brooklyn Navy Yard’s Duggal Greenhouse and then moved over to the Howard Gilman Opera House for performances starring; Mavis Staples, Steve Reich, Rufus and Martha Wainwright, Illstyle & Peace Productions, The Institutional Radio Choir and surprise guests.
