For one week only, Daisy Balloon‘s art will be on display in New York City. Daisy Balloon, aka, Rie Hosokai from Japan, is coming to NYC to add her artistry to the cross-cultural pop-up shop “Nipponista”. The show is here to “make Japan cheerful,” and to “reintroduce the excellence of craftsmanship in Japan for its people.” This show is a must-see:

For close to a decade, Rie Hosokai has set the standard for balloon fashion all over the world. She has been celebrated at festivals and galleries in Europe, Asia, and America, and created dresses for Björk and numerous fashion shoots. It was an honor for Kenwyn and Randy of The Twisted Balloon Company to help her with this project.
